This Privacy Policy describes how Usto Construction ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the USTO mobile application (the "App") and the companion web administration portal (the "Service"). The Service is an internal workforce-management tool provided to the employees, contractors, and authorised administrators of Usto Construction. It is not made available to the general public.
By using the Service you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information — name, work email address, role inside the organisation, work group assignment.
- Identification — Israeli identity number (Teudat Zehut) and date of birth, used to file Form 101 and verify employee identity.
- Israeli Tax Form 101 data — employer information, employee information, marital status, spouse and dependants, income type, tax-credit declarations and the digital signature you apply to the form. PII fields (employee ID, passport, spouse ID, spouse passport) are encrypted at rest.
- Banking documents — PDFs or photos of bank ownership certificates that you upload so that your employer can configure direct deposit.
- Work data — tasks assigned to your work group, status updates you make on those tasks, work-hour entries, descriptions of work performed, and photos or files you attach to tasks or projects.
- Personal documents — additional documents you choose to upload (such as a copy of your Teudat Zehut).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Push notification token — an anonymised device-specific token issued by Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- App and device metadata — application version, operating system version, and approximate language/region settings.
- Audit log — administrative actions performed in the Service are recorded.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Operate and maintain the Service and authenticate you to it.
- Allow your employer's administrators to assign tasks, projects, and work-hour approvals to you.
- Generate and file Israeli Form 101 tax forms on your behalf.
- Provide your employer with the records they are required to keep under Israeli labour, tax, and social-security law.
- Send you transactional push notifications about approvals and tasks.
- Investigate security incidents, fraud, or abuse of the Service.
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
3. How We Store and Protect Your Information
- Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase.
- All network communication is protected with TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Highly sensitive PII is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
- Access is controlled by role-based access control.
4. Who Has Access to Your Information
The following parties may access your information:
- You — your own account profile and documents.
- Usto Construction administrators — owners, developers, and authorised managers.
- Service providers — Supabase, Apple, Google, Vercel, Expo.
- Public authorities — only when required by law.
5. Data Retention
Account and employment-related records are retained for the duration of your employment and for as long as required by applicable Israeli law, including the seven-year retention requirement under tax and accounting regulations.
6. Your Rights
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion subject to legal retention obligations.
- Object to processing you believe is unlawful.
7. Children
The Service is a workplace tool and is not intended for children under 18 years of age.
8. International Transfers
Our service providers may store and process data in countries outside Israel, including the United States and the European Economic Area.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App or by email.
